    When the pirates are inevitably defeated, Tyre asks Sparta for the right to reclaim any stolen goods found at the pirate's lair.

    Wait, there are 6,000 people on an open plain? They should be in a small town with a stockade.

    And Barbarians had long history of military tradition. Making them just NPC's underpowers them. Barbarian just means someone who isn't a Player character, in this rp.

    Sounds good! Johannes has taken a loan of 14,000 thaler inorder to construct the Danzig Market and Dock quarters, and has sent diplomats out to all nations asking if they are in need of buyers or sellers

    Damnit Mosh, you did not tell me this.

    Anyway, my general is named General Slacktius of the Scythians.

    500 of the cavalry on my right flank divert to the left flank to cover the left flank of the slave army. The other 3,500 cavalry on the left advance forward and towards the left more so.

    The 6,000 slaves form a sort of phalanx with a spear line, though it is by no means as stable as a proper one. Their advance is slow but constant.

    On the right 500 cavalry stay back to guard the right side of the slave army, while the other 3,000 advance forward and towards the right.

    Sorry Viking, no more than 1 province per day for now. Its meant to be a slow game, because of the era and populations.

    @Karakoran
    @Skyicewolf

    The Barbarians only have 6000 able to fight. Historically barbarian hordes often were protecting their own people.

    I just hope the barbarian invasions and encounters are random. Also there are not so many they burden icewolf with to much work.

    probably not. But it seems a place that has a army of 6,000 would not just be living defenseless out on a plain.

    Perhaps we should draw up a map of the village to better see how this is done?

    Well you would be totally buttfucked if you were.

    I am pretty sure Sparta is safe from barbarian invasion. Lucky us. :p

    Will I have to deal with the Persians?

    Kara, you can go ahead. It should be just a bunch of longhouses around a large house in the center, probably on top of a hill. There would be some kind of very small stockade, one that could be hacked open.
