The People's Republic of China would like to assure the Russian Federation that the new initatives in solar and nuclear sectors will not harm the oil trade. On the subject, the PRC proposes new oil pipelines.
The UK raises the military budget by 25% The UK wishes to sell Ireland northern Ireland for 1 billion dollars. The money will go into the production of a new aircraft carrier. The HMS Winston Churchill. @Lighthouse
France buys Ireland, paints it Gold and plans to sell it for.... Or if you vote for Yarpen I will just fucking give it to you.... even if you dont want it vote for Yarpen....
We have one aircraft carrier. I want to reclaim the pride of the British fleet! Did I mention we raise taxes?
I meant that Northern Ireland probably doesn't have a billion dollars. And you are a democracy. 25% increase in military expenditures and raised taxes may be... problematic.
There is no such thing as a democracy in M.U.N games, its a flawed thing to have for obvious reasons.
The PRI announces that it will be implementing massive economic, and military reforms, in the form of a 6x four year plans. Phase one of the first economic four year plan involves improving the general infrastructure of the country, doubling the oil output of the nation, and beginning the framework of an expanded consumer goods industry. Part of the plan also involves beginning the construction of massive solar-farms in the rural regions of the country. Phase one of the military plan involves upgrades, and expansions to the Navy, and air force, as well as the formation of regional militias (Under the name of 'People's red guard'), to act as both a police force, and a second, purely-defensive military. It hopes to have at least 650'000 people armed, and serving in the red guard by the years end.
M.U.N. stands for Model United Nations also know as "MUN", Model UN, etc. MUN is a simulation of the United Nations done in some 400+ high schools and colleges worldwide. Within the MUN competition, particpants play the role of 'delegates' from preassigned nations. Their duty is to accurately represent their country on matters that are presented for their consideration in the various committees. Committees included branches of the United Nations such as the Security Council, the General Assembly, etc. Committees also include non-UN groups. What committees are included in a UN simulation, which is called a 'conference', is determined by the hosting school. Ask more if you are interested.
For the M.U.N my Japanese friend got Andorra and I got Uzbekistan, it was clearly obvious were the only one who actually knew anything about debates or tried. Its obvious what happened to us in the M.U.N.
What was the host school? This RP is nothing like in the actual MUN. You have to debate things out and follow the politics of things. You can't just be a loose cannon. Negotiations are vital to the simulation and you are expected to come out with a result that satisfies the people in the room and the dias.
