I've set up a Facebook group for the forum. Here's the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/257728271008960/ (Also in my signature). Also, when you request to join, send me a message on Facebook (Austin Hoffmaster) telling me who you are on the forums and that you want to join the group, so that I only add members of the community. If I don't receive a message, you won't be added. Also, any post made that links back to the site or forum, or makes them easily findable with a search will be removed and if necessary, I will remove you from the group, either temporarily, or permanently. This is a personal security measure. Some individuals for various reasons would prefer that their membership on this site wasn't made known on Facebook. I'm enforcing this policy on the page, even though you have to join to see any content posted. It's just an extra precaution to ensure the privacy of individuals is upheld.
I would probably join it, but that is kinda pointless. I mean what would we talk about there that we can't/don't talk about here? Go to something productive like take a pottery class or read a book. Edit:Besides we kinda already just use Stalin's Page.
It'd be a lot more effective to share links and videos on the page than in the status updates. It'd also be a lot more efficient to bring up small subjects and post images there than it is here.
How many active members do you think we have? Imagine all of them posting these images, etc. It would be a clusterfuck. On Facebook it is all one feed. At least here we have sections. Plus those people are probably gonna post more than once...
That sounds like reactionary thought to me. EDIT: @RickPerryLover We don't have that many active members. And not everyone would actively post on the page. That single feed wouldn't be too hard to look through if you wanted to. I don't really use groups on Facebook, but I know @Viking Socrates uses a few. I imagine he'd support the concept. So let's see what his opinion is.
It might be, but your treason is against Stalin and his glorious internet revolution. Commence 'no, you're the reactionary!' argument! Edit: Don't. Let's keep Chives' thread on-topic, like that's gonna happen.
I've rewritten the OP so that it's more official and gives you some info about the group. Could a mod sticky this?
Chives has changed his account status to "It's Complicated" Only people who are on the forums are welcome.
