So a bunch of far-off, outnumbered settlers, charging wildly into arrows killed three-hundred Levantine troops? Seems legit.

Also, Tyre is appreciative towards the Levantines for capturing Cyprus from our barbarian foes, and we will negotiate a deal for joint control over Cyprus when the war is over.

300 of 10,000 is hardly anything.

Tyre will send five-thousand men to Cyprus, to bolster Levantine defenses, should any of our enemies try to retake it. We propose fortifications along all of the easiest landing points, if we defend those then we could defend Cyprus with ease.

@Skyicewolf , I've sent five-thousand men your way, to Cyprus. I think we should organise some kind of defense, in case they try and retake it at some point.

Also, @General Mosh , have any Babylonian/Persian armies arrived to reinforce the forces of the Phoenician alliance?

Consider yourself in control of 15,000 Babylonian spear men and archers as well as 2500 Babylonian horse archers and 1000 Babylonian heavy cavalry. This is basically all of Babylon's army.

You don't own Cyprus I owned Cyprus, You occupy it. In war you don't own it until negotiations,and I colonised it severel days ago.

No we won't and here's why.

1. Spartans were trained pretty much starving
2. Population is gone and 7,000 men isn't much
3. What you think women and children can't farm?

My conclusion: We are hungry not starving.

Saying 'My people are tough' doesn't give you allowance to have 1/3 of your population fighting wars, with no repercussions. There would be serious food shortages. Like, many farms would have no one on them.
