This isn't historical. Try to invade them and they will unite, outnumber your armies, isolate them in their own lands and crush them. You'll be throwing men away by invading any of those countries.
Try to take either Anatolia or Judea and your invading forces will be thrown out by Tyrian, Levantine and probably Babylonian forces as well. You might come into conflict with African countries or Dalmatian colonists if you go into Egypt.
Ok, so where did you get all the ships? And if 50k people are soldiers, who are sailors? Last I checked, they count as military pop. as well.

@Skyicewolf , I've left the war. There's nothing we can do for Athens now. They're hopelessly outnumbered on all sides, and the former enemies combined navy is trapping Athens. I've gotten us some ports though, and Cyprus. All Athens can do now is accept Greek unification if they want to survive.
