Complain to me if something is wrong, a lot of Euro nations are now NPC, they will expand accordingly and also mingle with the lot of yours. I decided that a normal game year of expansion would also equal to ONE colony textile. I.E. Rome or Sparta.
I hate to complain but just add it next time, I took some area in main Egypt and the day before I took 5 in west.
Let us say as Sparta they want to colonize into Magna Grecia. Well instead of 5 bordering textiles they can get 1 textile in the other area, nonbordering, the "colony". I will keep this until I get the offical system.
