    The Rome senate plead the SRPR to stop the civil war to fight off the Venice army, but the SRPR order half the senate to step down and have it replace by pro-spartan senators.

    This was around 2 hours ago so basically a month in game time. The siege hasn't been going on for very long, but everything is in position. We're assaulting the walls with 190,000 soldiers. Most of them untrained peasants with no combat experience or solid training. Still enough to bleed out the walls though.
