So, first of all, my colonisation for today: IC: With the new defensive strategies completed, 25,000 of the total population of 540,000 were recruited as combined armsmen to defend the forts. In their time there, they will train with their bows and spears. 70,000 others have started their training with pikes and longbows to serve as the main defensive force of the nation. Another 70,000 men are trained as an offensive infantry force, of which 45,000 use swords and wooden oval-shaped shields, and the other 25,000 are trained in using bows and short swords. As for the navy, there are now 20 siege ships that have 300 men on board for a total of 6,000 siege sailors. The smaller and weaker Frisian longboats, of which there are 200, are being manned by a total of 15,000 sailors, 75 per ship. OOC: Also, can we please stop posting tiny triple posts, and instead just edit earlier ones to stop the thread from flooding even more than is necessary? It's getting seriously annoying.
Did you post that you were building any of the ships or training any of those soldiers? @darthdj31 I'm just going to calculate the outcome of the Battle for Red Spain. I don't feel like writing out the battle. I'll get you my colonization for the day later.
@Imperial1917 Do I have to train any soldiers since my guys are taken away at the age of 7? The peace deal made me continue training them, so I have not been lacking in the training department.

So they count as regular trained troops when I draft them when I am invaded.

@darthdj31 What is that brown, shit color nation between Rome and Venice? Not really. I was up against like Town Guard with a horde of half a million people though so I'm pretty sure we can all see how things went.
