I will slowly but surely continue training my Scythian/Hungarian levies into proper soldiers. Maybe one day they'll be free of their shackles as just untrained peasants. Though like 10,000 levies trained every 6 months and there's like 200,000 levies... So like 10 years of training to make them all normal soldiers. Slowly but surely man.
Aren't there like 125,000 levees from Hungry and 190,000 from Scythia? Oh, and I was wondering when you would start training them. 6 months per 10,000 sounds reasonable to me. Its ok, I just wish it weren't so late where I am.
I understand Keep in mind, I understand already that i'm going to win this battle. The only problem I have is those guys are veterans. I don't like having men I've been training for a long time killed.
Apparently Javelins, when fired from 300 feet away, at a 15,000 man phalanx of trained hoplites who were braced for a charge, with there shields up, can kill every single man in it.
I assumed that the casualties occur all over your forces... and that his would be smart enough to aim at unprotected tragets.
I had every single man with his shield up. I stated that. The infantry had there shields up, the phalanx was bracing for a charge. Yet I lose more men then him during the charge, AND my shields dont count for anything. I might as well not have shields.
IoM 2nd Fleet reaches the south side of Britain. The infantry and cavalry disembark and set up a beachhead that they fortify.
dafuq? When did this happen? You know if he took over the Basque that means 860,000 people inhabit the Imperium of Man. They could theoretically raise an army of 430,000 soldiers. If you add Britain to that they have 710,000 people added to that so 1,570,000 people. An army of 785,000 soldiers is possible. Even my endless Horde cannot stop this. You should all be pissing yourselves.
If he becomes to much of a problem we could all team up, then there is hope. Chances are we would just continue to fight eachother while he slowly creeps on us bringing death
Actually, Imperium didn't even let them raise levies. IMPERIUM. Form up your armies. We're redoing that battle. Sky style. 8)
Who ruled the Basque at the time? BTW if you have a battle system, then I would like to know it so possibly some of my future battles can use it, its quite pointless just stumbling around in combat trying your best to get the enemy to fold when he is doing the same.
