@Skyicewolf Hate to break it to you, but I don't have... anything that works for the geographical history of my area. @Viking Socrates @Thefatkid Its a NPC nation. Doesn't count. Its not like I am invading the Isle of Man.
Heres some info on my elephants. War Elephants Not a very creative name, but these units don't need it. Larger and tougher than normal elephants, war elephants are so dangerous that Hannibal armed their mahouts with spikes to drive into their skulls in case the elephant ever tried to run towards Carthaginian lines - the devastation it would cause was simply not worth risking. If you go up against these beasts, you absolutely must have a good counter, or you are doomed. It can carry archers. Armored Elephants If you are not yet scared, this should do the trick: armored elephants are probably the largest thing you will ever see on the battlefield; several hundred pounds of angry flesh and bone covered by sheets of metal. These monsters are literally unstoppable, so if you ever decide to fight the Carthaginians, you had better pray you don't run into any armored elephants A reminder I armed them with ballistas.
Venice begins more production of men hoping to become the strongest force. 10k venitian archers, 15k Venetian swordsman and 3k German spearmen.
The Euclid Doctrine!(Why not be more like Roman military units? They conquered everyone else...)(I still use Spartan agoge so don't think that is gone.) Sparta decides it needs MORE reformed military doctrines! Officers now have a whistle when blown the men in the front move to the back to keep troops fresh. Shields are now square and bigger. We have many Roman formations. They have iron on outside though. We just smelt down old shit. Our swords are shorter like gladius's. Roman helmets. We arm all hopturians with spears as well to be pulled out when faced with Calvary. Our organization changes. Contenbirmium- 10 men Century- 100 men Cohorts- 1,000 men Legion- 10,000 men (I know those aren't exact Roman numbers used, I am Greek anyways.)
The Romans conquered the world. They knew what the hell they were doing military. It is time I adopt myself to be more like them. This combined with Spartan training I would be unstoppable.
Oh no i agree they are overrated. Not all my units are legionairies. They are also composed of various other infantry and Calvary types. My army is far more flexible then the Romans.
The best army is the screeching army of women for Germania. Infact Sweden will be introducing them into the army.
We have tamed bears to use like wolf's and our army use there fur as armor and the officer's have the head of a bear over there head as a sign there officer's We also use them to move around quicker bears are basically my whole infrastructure right now.
You guys are awesome! Now are we aloud to tame bears? @darthdj31 @General Mosh @Skyicewolf @Imperial1917
