All of the recent Spider-man movies have been C material. They just have a new guy who can't act now.
Spiderman seems so fucking wimpy. He just gets his ass kicked throughout all films (can't say I've seen this one yet), and at the end, someone helps him out and he defeats the enemy. Woop-tee-fuckin'-do. As for superhero films, the only ones I really enjoy are those with Batman and Iron Man. The rest are pretty meh.
It would be boring if it didn't get his ass kicked. Superman for example, i cant stand him because I know he will always win. Spiderman was always more brain than brawn anyway.
The problem is that with Spiderman, you still know he's going to win, despite him being a wimpy cunt. He'll cry a bit, gets his suit torn up, his girlfriend leaves him, and then a mystery friend shows up and saves the day, while Spidey gets all the credit. It's not brain, it's failure and dumb luck.
At least Spiderman has real weaknesses, and thats what makes him interesting. He got help only in the third movie, in the rest he actually had to use his skill. I have to say i hated all three movies because of Tobey Maguire, cant stand that little fuck.
Meh, Batman is still superior in every single way. So is Iron Man, really. The two of them really have a personality outside of being superheroes. Spiderman is just...there. I agree on Superman, though, he's incredibly boring. And I just recently saw pieces of the second film, in which the villain became the hero who saved everyone. Spiderman just threw away some thing that was going to hit his girlfriend, who was needed to help him out in the first place.
Batman is overdone. The guy's turned into some kind of overpowered Chuck Norris. Mainly because DC needed to have him fit into the Justice League without seeming like an underpowered wimp next to characters who can literally play tennis with planets. And that sucks. I preferred it when Batman was basically just Sherlock Holmes with a utility belt and a cool suit. "World's greatest detective" and all that.
More proof that Hollywood is running out of ideas. Seriously, why reboot something that just ended 5 years ago?
@UnitRico Did you actually see the movie,or you're just talking about the older version? Becouse in the new one they did make Peter into an actually normal guy(Before the spider bite), and not a wimp like in the previous ones+they didn't push Uncle Ben's death down your throat like previously which was a relief. And Spiderman's weakness along with other Marvel heroes comapared to DC heroes is just realism.Even in the Avengers, every hero had a weakness even Thor. But in my opinion this one was really good.Waaay better than the older version.I'd say the biggest part I didn't like was that there werent that many action scenes.Plus the Villain was good. The thing was that some of the scenes were a bit meh BUT the actors made even those into great moments, seriously the cast did a fantastic job.And the dubbing was great too. *SPOILER ALERTS AHEAD* The dillemma of Spidey creating Lizard was great, and Officer Shotgun at the end was Badass. The interaction between the Lizard and Spidey was good too.
I'm indeed basing what I said off the ones I've seen, mainly the third and second ones. They were all right, but they didn't come close to the awesomeness that was Iron Man and Batman.
