Because they'd instantly be annexed by people who've been here for longer? Not to mention Armenia already existed and expanded as an NPC.
Armenia isn't new. I was using it as a NPC, remember? darth said that Cover asked to be Armenia, so I handed it over after nerfing it down a bit. That reminds me: @Cover You do remember that you have a standard NPC garrison at your disposal, right?
This new world is strange and alien to Tyre. However, we've got plenty of space and security, so we'll be fine.
The red sea's off of the map (I think), though if Dalevantyre has expanded south far enough, then Tyre might technically have a port on the red sea, though it'd also be partly owned by Dalmatia and the Levantines.
25,000 standard infantry (trained) and 10,000 levees. The infantry don't have any specific number of years of training. They are yours to do with as you please. Note that the standard infantry are only armed with swords. Levees are little more than angry peasents and are armed as such.
Chernivtsi will train 10,000 new troops with the new weaponry and armour provided by Venice. After the troops are finished training, this will be the new troop count. Chernivtsi troop count: - 20,000 heavy infantry - 10,000 light infantry - 15,000 archers - 10,000 heavy cavalry - 5,000 light cavalry Chernivtsi also announces that it will start training horse archers. Also, production of catapults is progressing steadily, the first few units will be deployed as soon as they are built and there are troops trained to use them.
It means each of my provinces has trained everyone in every province to defend themselves. I upgraded my citys with concrete awhile back. Every house has a trained archer every building has slotted windows. I will not be drafting 50% of my population only %100 of a invaded province. Theres a difference. Every single province I have has 40 foot high 20 deep walls, which I made awhile back.
BTW: Northern Russian Front [or whatever its offficial name is, the dark blue up far in russia] and New Munich have a military alliance. Just to announce it for documentation.
