So... why did Chives feel the need to announce his sexuality on a sleazy internet thread with a large population of homophobic 12 year olds?
However, I did say something. Now you will listen or you'll regret it. Don't do that here. Not in this thread. I will tolerate zero personal attacks or insults like that in a thread where someone is being serious about their sexuality. He felt the need to do so. People should not hold back something of importance like this for fear of personal attack. If anyone who is gay or has any characteristic that they are in fear of making public here for fear of bigotry or being persecuted by fellow members then we obviously have a major problem. Just accept this for what it is, if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all. If you can't recognize this for what it is then don't post here. I'm proud of Chives. He's not in a minority here. I am interested in both sexes as well, it's the best way
Since when are there a lot of homophobes here? I know of 2, both of whom we've bashed until they gave up their irrational hatred.
I was aware of a few here, but i don't think some of these people are necessarily homophobic, they just don't know when to turn off the "jokes" I hope people realize that this isn't okay to do to anyone. Regardless of if they're friends on the forum or not. He wasn't looking to troll. He just wanted to pick a time when the pressure wasn't so high. At least I think so. I wasn't aware he was going to do this but I'm so proud of him
Chives isn't pissed at all, he hasn't mentioned it to me, I'm mad. Viking made an inappropriate comment. It's irrelevant now. We shouldn't be focusing on the hate..
Well when I came out, I was called faggot, personally I meant nothing by it. Just a way to lighten the atmosphere.
Well, I'm sorry that you went through that but I can assure you calling someone who just came out a faggot never lightens the atmosphere. I know you didn't mean to attack him, but really. Try to think of nicer things to say
I don't know, I can always appreciate a good dose of humour, whatever it's about. But that's just me.
