Damnit man, I'll do it tomorrow. Because I have to go back and find when I started training 10k levies to soldiers every 6 months to now how many are soldiers and I don't really remember the composition anyway so I'll have to look it up...
You have 76 tiles as of the last update on page 312. Thus you have 760,000 total population. 50% of that is 380,000. So you have a military capacity of 380,000. Minus the 220,000 that is the force you are supporting that comes from New Scythia. Then you have 160,000. Minus the standard garrison that you recieved in place of the forces that you trained but forgot and you have a remaining military capcity of 125,000. Here it is in basic: 76*10,000=760,000 760,000/2=380,000 380,000-220,000=160,000 160,000-35,000=125,000 Do you have any ships that you remember? And no, the standard garrison does not include ships.
What is the average size of a navy in this game? Add twenty treasure ships to that because that is what I build. And thanks for doing my work for me.
You will have to define 'treasure ships' and link to a source to prove that they are in the tech timeframe. The 'average size' of a navy varies, but 100 ships should do you well, though from where you are, you wouldn't encounter as much resistence as other people. You will have to add the ships to your own building que. I'm not responsible for keeping track. Remember two things: Ships take a while to build, depending on their size. Ships also require large crews, which vary depending on the type of ship and how efficiently you want it to run. You will also have to take into account how many troops are on it when you choose the crew size. As far as I've seen, most people (most) don't set times for crew training. Its just assumed that the crew is ready when the ship is completed. Also, remember that troops take time to train. Levees especially should be trained to full soldiers. Remember to announce when training of troops or construction begins, for the record. Matter of duty. I would have had to count your provinces to back-check the number of military units that you could support at some point anyways.
The average ship now is Triremes, they seem to be the backbone. Though many people are either going into very specialized ship routes, or upgrading to Quadriremes.
They have balista's, catapults, and polybolos's on it, and are guarded by Triremes. They serve similar functions of aircraft carriers.
And Anwrise mentioned battle groups to defend them. Why in the world would I do that? He said 'carrier-like escorts' or something to that effect. The reasoning behind using such vessels eludes me. So do all his smaller ships. So do all of my ships. All he has really done is take a couple of days to make 10 big targets.
having shit-loads of ranged weapons on it. Also be hard as shit to take down. Be good transport as well.
^ What are you talking about?! Of course Quadrime came first! I mean, Quad means 4 and four comes before bi, which is two, doesn't it?! Nobody cares! Grrr! Btw: isn't it like 10:30 in California right now?
Well we can import food via the harbor.... Your siege is pretty much useless. Try an assault will be suicide. You don't have equipment. You can't starve us out because you have no navy. Even then you have no sailors, and we have a lot of boats. You are in check. Soon checkmate.

@Thefatkid You realize that this barbarian invasion serves the sole purpose of driving the active players of this RP into the open and causing them to react, right? No matter what is necessary.
