Sorry there haven't been many videos in the past days guys. I've been trying to grad at the end of the month, so things have been pretty crazy, but things seem to be in a constant state of craziness. :p

In any case I did have the time to sit down and do a Coffee House video about a political thesis I have been mulling over in my head about why the political left will always be more divided than the right. Enjoy!

I don't think your right about this thing, at least not in were i'm from (the Netherlands) in my country the left is indeed more divided than the right but the right also wants change they wan't less goverment, more roads etc. My point is the right also wants change but they want to go in an other direction.

    (sorry for the bad spelling)

A very interesting thesis comrade Stalin, I believe though that the right's reactionary view leaves it less appealing to most people though even if it is more united.

Don't worry, we know the site is dead, along with your let's plays.

In the Netherlands, the right isn't genuinely conservative. The right is a mix between liberalism (wanting as much freedom for the people as you can), and (reactionary) conservatism (wanting stuff back as it used to be). This might seem like a strange mix, but it basically seeks a balance between the two.

The PVV is not even a really liberalist party. They're mostly a blend between conservatism, liberalism and socialism.

What do you guys over in the Netherlands think about your upcoming election? Any thoughts?

As far as the polls indicate, this time it's going to be a race between the socialists and the right-wing liberals. Unlike many previous elections in which either the social or christian democrats became the largest party.

Funny that this is a coffee house video when there is now no longer a way for us to really debate this issue.

Im Socialist, and I agree with most of what Stalin said. Good job :)

I can't say I know much about Dutch parties besides a little about the CDA, D66, VVD, the PvdA and the LPF when that was still around (I had to study The Netherlands in my European politics class) but I thought it was interesting. Can I ask what party or parties you support?

Sorry, but I'm currently too young to vote.

    Hopefully you can soon ;)
