    I thought about this for awhile, and how really would this be different then having a discussion in the politics or philosophy threads? I mean yes it's a more direct way of saying, hey what are your thoughts on this. But really aren't the forums bringing things to his attention enough? I'm sure at some point were going to spark something in one of the friends that he feels the need to address further or to clarify, so I don't really think it would be necessary to further differentiate between the two
