Stalin isn't supposed to hold our hands on every issue. That is why we have the rules and we act on those. Just as we did when we banned Che. He broke the rules several times and according to the rules Stalin agreed on he was banned. It was also posted in an area that Stalin could see. For all those who keep bringing that up as an issue.

Stalin wouldn't need to hold any hands if the community was allowed to look after itself and our moderators just moderated.

If the community looked after itself, it would act as an autonomous being. It would require much less effort from him.

    They are.
Are you suggesting "wild west" forum policy? Yeah, that'll work out.

It requires little effort from him as it is.

This is a rather stupid idea, frankly, and just because ONE mod did something on his own without the concent of the other mods and Stalin doesn't mean the entirety of mods are corrupt & the corrupt is really getting over-used recently, Noel made a mistake, we all do, and saying "Oh all the mods are corrupt, and rape women" isn't getting anywhere. Also Che the only reason you're stirring this shit up is because you're on thin ice - thinking about putting 30 members to regulate 10 mods is fucking insane.

And ComradeLer wouldn't have brought the issue up if he liked the group he was put in, so saying that mods, who have been hand-picked by Stalin, are corrupt is really saying that Stalin is corrupt, which he isn't.

How the hell does that make any sense that someone has to be corrupt for corrupt people to be placed by them?

I love that all this crap is being brought up because someone's name was changed a different color. Che's immediate response is "CORRUPTION!"

You are suggesting giving the community power over the mods. The mods' job is to make sure the community is following the rules and maintain order. We warn and or ban rule breakers from the community. You are saying that the community being moderated would fairly regulate the moderators? Not have some who just hate the rules, some who hate the mods, some who are butthurt over being warned... The mods would become useless and the forum would become a dump. That would be "corruption".

I think the opposite (The mods having absolute power.) would be a dump. (Refer to IGN.)
Also, link gave a vary good example of such a system working (TWC) in the other thread.

Anyway I think we can all agree that it's going to be quit a show when Stalin logs on.

A show? No. Stalin will give his position and that will be that.

Hurr Durr. I like the part where you presented an argument to back this up.

I am simply going along with this until Stalin posts. But I am fairly sure he will back the mods he has backed time and again and put trust in. This site will not become IGN or TWC. If you want TWC go to TWC. If you don't like the way this forum is run then GTFO.

Link, I like the part where you're just trolling. [INSERT INSULT HERE]
And I was talking about the fact he said it'd be quite a show when Stalin comes on.

This isn't valid. You have the right to try to change something. That's like telling people in your country to leave if they don't like it.
You still have no argument, and now you insult me. You're failing on a massive scale right now.

This "country" is NOT A DEMOCRACY. The way the forum is run was set by the owner. The King here. This is a monarchy if anything. He is the leader, we are his nobles who rule under him and you are the people under us.

No, and I get where you're going, and Stalin does own the site and all, but the users of the site are the source of it's success, and they have the right to criticize it, and try to change it.

But any country that isn't a democracy is illegitimate. Your best bet is to stop comparing it to a country.
