ive got about 30 of these in my inbox, all from same person all same thing, they all say this

It's an error in the mass emailer. I assume Stalin actually wrote those because I sure as hell didn't, and I don't think we mods would refer to ourselves as "Your Pal Stalin."

So to answer your question it's yes and no; Stalin did indeed write and send those, but no it's not on purpose. The mass emailing tool has some quirks and it looks like you were affected by it.

It seems like it only affects some people. I, for one, didn't get spammed =P

It's a glitch in the mass e-mail system I told Stalin how he could send a message to everyone telling them about this and it seems it glitched on some e-mail addresses.

I doubt it was actually a glitch. Clearly Stalin is spamming over and over again.
I see no other alternative.
