I've been onboard since gen3 and have played through three games and logged at least 1200 hours alltogether. For Black version, I've decided to clean the slate and start anew. By that, I mean no going to Psypokes and learning every pokemon. I have no idea when my Pokemon evolve or learn half-decent moves. I'm at the second gym and gearing up to smash that normal eugh-bag.

i had a cople of the old games but saphire is the one closest to me, It's been a long time since I've played... but it was great and the replay value was awsome.

I abandoned my Black playthrough. I am currently playing through SoulSilver on an emulator.
Ruby is my favorite mainly for sentimental reasons. First game I ever owned.

Poke red/blue for me, first game I emulated as a kid.

Made me feel like a hacker.

....And a used ruby cartridge for me.
Though I liked Emerald more.

Its all about the yellow version for me, first Pokemon game i got.

i had red but then my gb advance broke. didn't get another Pokemon game until a few months back. i got black for my ds and it kicks ass. i love the pokemon series. although red and black are really the only ones i played soo... blacks still pretty awesome.

You're never too old to play the same game over except with new antagonists, creatures, and story, but with slightly better graphical elements and streamlining. Just look at the Call of Duty franchise.
