    If all you have to contribute to a topic is blind, unflinching agreement with someone else's exact post then I should wonder why you've bothered to post at all in that topic.

    The point isn't to stop people from agreeing with each other. The point is to force people to actually put their thoughts into a format interpretable by other people or else have their right to expression in that venue removed.

    Meh, close enough. By that logic you wouldn't be able to identify as a political ideology because you would vary from any other member of that ideology just a little bit.

    This rule is nothing new, I posted the posting guidelines in the first week of the forum to combat the frankly crap topics that people were creating. All this rule does is enforce what people should have been doing anyway.

    Can someone please tell me why this was passed? I mean is there a reason why we need this? I just think its kinda overkill. Its not making sense and whats so wrong with saying "this". We are on the internet and saying "this" is an equivalent to nodding your head when someone says something smart or just something you agree with. I just want someone to give a good reason and example on why this passed. And I doubt I'm the only one.
