1st NKVD TF2 TOURNAMENT 7/23/11

Hello everyone! lets just get right into it shall we?

Rules:
all matches will be 6v6 (in classic form). You are limited to ONE DEMOMAN and ONE MEDIC. Your other 4 classes are up to your team. All games will be on control point maps. The brackets will be posted on Challonge.com and will be double elimination, which means there will be a losers bracket. (note, a team who goes into the loser bracket can still win the whole tournament) The maps that your team will be playing on will be told to you before you start. DO NOT START A MATCH IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TOLD TO DO SO. THE SANDVICH IS BANNED. IF A PLAYER IS CAUGHT WITH IT ON YOUR WHOLE TEAM WILL BE DQED. AND, NO ONE MAY USE THE NEWEST SOLDIER ALEINISH ITEMS AS THEY ARE BRAND NEW AND NO ONE KNOWS HOW OP OR UP THEY MAY BE.

Mods:
I need mods to help me organize the games. Without enough mods the tourney will run extremely slowly. All mods will be able to watch the games as a spectator. Everyone else much watch the livestream.
If you want to mod make a post such as this
Bla bla bla, can i mod plz tyty. my ingame name is blaa bla.

Casters:
Anyone who wants to cast over my stream is welcome too, just make sure you have skype. If someone has their own livestream they can watch any games any cast it. Just make sure to note it in your post that you will cast.

I'll be a mod and if needed a player but I don't know why we wouldn't have enough the game is free. Also why is the sandvich banned?

okay. All the posts above are wrong. I said sign up as a team. Unless you want me to randomly put teams together. Also raygun if everyone joins we could get 3-4 teams. The sandvich is banned because having a free med kit when ever you want is overpowered.

Well its true.

Not trolling. TF2 is just no different from Black Ops or Halo. Well, except for the fact that CoD and Halo are more balanced because they don't sell stat boost giving hats.

Your probably just pissy because you can't use the sniper rifle as a shotgun. That or you keep getting W+M1'd to death by pryos.

Anyway, this is a tournament thread, treat it accordingly (Link).

Focus on Sniper, unless I'm having a bad day.

Why dont you guys make a team instead of posting solo. Im going to make like an all pyro team. Plus if you get a team you can practice or w/e.

Well those games arent free. So the amount of players might be lower. Plus the hats dont give you bonuses. ever. And buying items fucks you over in the long run, I have experience in such matters :lol: .

Full sets give you bonuses, and the hats are parts of the sets.

You don't have to buy them and the bonuses are not exactly game changing.

Well, I don't know about you but I'm going to spam-pm the entire forum with the question: "Wanna be in my TF2 team?!!1!".
I think it's a better idea to post here and then see who's actually interested and then start forming a team.

Smart guy. Also link hats dont give any bonuses by themselves, besides they stopped doing that for the new sets. The bonuses are pretty shit anyway. Like the medieval medic gives you 1 more hp regen, but it forces you to use the shitty crossbow. aka the worst weapon in the game.

Cant get the game to work after downloading it twice, Defragging it, and checking the cache so sorry bros I wont be able to participate
