So after the Duma elections, some people saw the results and came to the conclusion of election fraud. So people have started protesting over this and are calling for free and open elections.

What's your opinion on the allegations of electoral fraud and the protester's demands?

Well it will get international attention but the Russian government will most likely do nothing.

Russia will do what Russia does best: Blame the united states.

They already did that.

Blame it again I say, or Blame Poland.

I think these elections and protestations are shaping the modern Russia bit by bit to a more democratical country.

No there was fraud the election watchdog and other parties both say there was fraud and released some evidence.

35% Communist in the elections and this is with fraud. I bet they had at least 40-45%.

I personally blame the US for this; all these 'independent' watchdogs are conveniently western-backed. That and the protesters have cobbled together some very professional-looking signs, many of which are in English, presumably on the spur of the moment in their genuine grassroots kneejerk reaction.

I think the National Bolsheviks got 17%. But the CPRF got 35%.
Russia and putin are nutritious for electoral fraud, though in some regions the CPRF got up to 60%, so it's very possible that the Communists 'Won'. Although the presidential election isn't until next year. (I think?)

Well there is one independent watchdog in the country and the Russian government tried to shut it down and they have to be Western backed or else Russia would just them down immediately.

It would be lulzy if the Communists actually won the election. I could imagine seeing the USSR having fallen through a hard won fight in the Cold War and then just electing itself back to existence 20 years later.
