Alright well most of us have probably seen this show on the history channel. My questions to all of you is do you believe in them? Personally I'm atheist and I believe that religion started out of a misunderstanding for extraterrestrials. If you look at most major religions they all have something to do with someone coming out of the sky with a big boom and lots of "clouds" or smoke. What do you guys think?? And if you do believe in them do you think they are advanced human beings like i do, or do you think they are short green guys?
No. Simply no. Ancient civilizations were perfectly capable of completing their massive public works projects on their own. No aliens would have helped them dump rocks on top of each other and then left. The History Channel airs way too much of this crap...
I wouldn't say its "crap" Just because they are putting out a theory doesn't mean its crap. I think that aliens are more believable then some invisible guy who lives in the sky and know everything you do. I also think that aliens are more believable then some talking snake or how two people can make a population of 7 billion people in a few years.

The ancient aliens theory is very doubtful, until I see enough proof I cannot believe it. As a side note wtf is the history channel doing what is with all these reality shows put on some documentaries about history. It can be about anything even the history of Pac-man and tetris, just don't show these reality shows all the time.
Very true. I mean, Pawn Stars? Ice Road Truckers? Ax Men? Tunnelers? Really? I want more of those mystery shows, like about aliens. I don't believe in them in any way, but I do like these silly theories based on assumptions and coincidences. Oh, and Battles BC, I like that one as well. But please fix the fighting scenes, I can't remember any civilization giving every single soldier two swords... Oh yes, aliens. Nah, I don't believe in them. I mean, if they would've helped them make these massive monuments and stuff, why disappear in the Dark Ages? And why is there no documentation on them?
uh, no. We know how each and every religion has been started- it all relates to that civilization or group's culture. Many are similar because they were influenced by each other, and many are similar simply because religion filled the same societal and political role for more than one group of people. That said, it is pure ignorance to deny the existence of any aliens at all. If the conditions necessary for life could be created on Earth, there's an infinite number of other potential planets across all galaxies that can also have the necessary conditions. And, for all we know, life can exist with different conditions- the only definition we have for life is the one we see here, and the fact that viruses can exist as an exception to the modern definition of "life" shows that some form of life can exist outside of our current understanding. And the conditions themselves aren't really hard to make: Earth was originally void of oxygen and photosynthetic bacteria created it. It really relies on pure chance more than anything else.
Battles BC is epic. I wish they did more of it. I don't understand why it's so hard for them to find things to talk about? I mean come on, if your so desperate why haven't I seen a solid show about Italian Unifcation? The Ottomon Empire? It's not particularly hard.
Ancient Aliens is just a show to collect revinue. I doubt the people who make the show even believe it themselves. They just throw out figures, interviews of unreliable sources, and they find ways to misinterpet everything to mean aliens arrived and left spontaniously. I bet collectivly the amount of manhours wasted on that show could've built a pyramid. I mean, when you factor in collective watching time, the filming, the interviews, the pilots, the scripting, the setting, the graphical demonstrations, and commentary it really makes you wonder.
True, although when I watch shows like these, these people look like they take themselves seriously, so who knows... By the way, I saw an episode of Ancient Discoveries yesterday, love that show as well. Shame they usually repeat so many episodes of shows...

And yes I do believe in aliens as being intelligent lifeforms, that have visited us in the past considering the ancients considered these "gods" to be no laughing mattter anrd REAL things that they say. Jesus was part alien in my opinion. God comes down from the sky amd Mary gets pregnant without u know wut hapens, and Jesus reserects out of the ground, which christians swearing that it was a real event.
I've seen this show a few days ago, and it was hilarious. No, really: "This farao had a weird head shape...ZOMGALIENZ!"..."In all cultures, gods came from the skies...ZOMGALIENZ". Yeah, because divine being with supernatural powers just jump out of the ground, and completely ignore the immense and mysterious openness that is the vast sky...Really, these people underestimate the abilities and knowledge of our ancestors.
The people who live in the house next to mine are pretty strange,odd things happen strange lights and noise,diggin holes in the backyard etc,and they look kinda weird,i think can there be a alien colony inside the house ? The idea of aliens in the past aint so far fetched as we have them amongst us at this moment,like total full on alien infestation which is a bit of a bummer,there is a lot of unemployment at the moment an all. Deadiest catch was a good tv show,the one with the boats,icy seas,crabs and seamen,hell yes !
So, all people who act a bit weird are automatically aliens? Really, I need more than vague eye witnesses from a small village craving for attention noone even knows about to make me believe in aliens on Earth.
Well the pizza dude was telling me the other day he nearly shat his self when he was a takin pizza there to that there alien house,like the king alien guy opens the door just a wearin this mankini outfit with the seqiuns an all,i said no way but pizza dude said yup he shore was,and not only that but he had a hell of a huge weapon hidden in that there mankini thing,was not human by the looks accordin to the pizza dude,i kinda feel scared at the thought of all that alien tech being hidden in that there mankini !
