Just watch Britain totally overreact if they say yes.
They probably will. Make Ecuador curse the day they dared let Assange take refuge there!

    Then why comment...?

I think they will accept him, if only because Assange and Ecuador's president are supposedly friends. I also think they should accept him, because it seems like everyone just wants to shut wiki leaks down, no one cares about the two woman who are claiming things. Woman always claim things about famous people and are lying maybe as much as half the time.

From what I've heard of people who've read the police reports, what assange did is not, by any means sexual assault. What he did was apparently borderline creepy/weird, but the girls are essentially pressing charges because they found him sexually disappointing.

Moving on though, I believe the Australian government has once again proven itself as a US puppet. One of our citizens faces possible life jail, or even death penalty via an unjust trial, just for freely expressing information/being a journalist, and once again, we've spent the entire time with our faces in America's crotch.

Imagine if the situation had been reversed, and this was a Chinese dissident, who released thousands of secret cables about China/Russia. Our media would be all over it, right wing groups would pop up demanding his freedom, and the government would criticize it as the worst thing ever.

Assange is a real douche. The guy is slimy as all hell, even setting aside what he did.

What are you referring to? The alleged sexual assault, or his leaking of documents? By the way @ComradeLer, there is a difference between using your right to free speech and leaking documents that could put US soldier lives on the line. I don't care about the silly diplomatic documents, I care about all those military documents he leaked.

He is a wanted man, trying to run away from the fate the courts have decided for him.
We have every right to put our best efforts to arresting him.

I actually find the leaking of videos and tapes and stuff of americans shooting civilians while laughing their asses off more interesting and telling than any other "secret" documents....

Oh you mean the one single video is more important then the tens of thousands of classified documents that could potentially cause the deaths of countless people? Yea that makes sense in selfish irresponsible sort of way.

I can think of atleast 4 videos I've seen from all those data, and I am not even that interested in it.... I would not cry if those fuckers get murdered, anyway.
Also, don't blame the journalist who does his job in reporting with the information he has, blame those who were stupid enough to let it get out.

4 huh? Does that really defeat my point?
Well it's good to see that you are a compassionate and understanding human beings who does not judge large
groups of people based on the actions of a few.
That's like saying, "I don't blame the robber for stealing from that guys house, it was obviously the homeowners own stupidity that caused to robbery".

i didn't care for your point, so......

I was specifically talking about the guys in the videos....

Assange didnt rob a house. He got his hands on a video tape, that was stolen by a robber from a house, where the owner of the house fucks little girls....

    Then why are you replying?

You could say I am trolling, I would say I am having fun, laughing at mad 18 year old over patriotic americans...

    Yeah well, I suggest glasses!

You used a wrong analogy. You liked Assange to the robber, but he is not the robber. He is the one who got his hands on the goods that were stolen (the documents) and did what is his job: making them public.
Or didn't you understand the language I used, I could use another if you like....
