So I am interested in diving into the Battletech 25th Anniversary Box Set. Does anyone else play it and would like to tell me if I should know anything? I hear this is the best set for new players because it comes with a shit load of mechs and starter rules. I am also interested in the RPG game if I really get into it but so far the universe from what I read is fucking amazing. What is the RPG game like? Also, is there a cheaper way to get the box set than this one on Amazon? 175$ might be a good deal for a battletech player but im kinda broke and would like to find a way to tone down the price.
