Many are familiar with the fight for independence of the palestinians and northern irish but many forget the fight for freedom of the Chechnyans. Should they recieve what they have fought years for or should they stay apart of Russia and be denounced as terrorists. Is one mans terrorist another mans freedom fighter?

I would like to point out that the Northern Irish do not want "freedom" as they voted to stay with England. On topic, they should be free but I don't abide by terrorism.

I'm not as well versed with Scottish independence movements but I'm fairly certain that's not a majority either.

Yes. It is also all in Japanese. It was considered to be a much worse movie. I think its not as good as the first but its not bad either. The movie is pretty anti-american though, and is told from the perspective of terrorists.

Damn Chechnyan sons-of-bitches don't come close to deserving independence. They behave like animals and Russia will rightfully treat them that way. At the same time, the Russians have done some pretty horrible things themselves. Either way, fuck Chechnya and fuck Chechnyans. In no rational perspective can the crimes they've committed be justified by their pathetically insignificant goal. Guess that's why they're lumped in with Northern Ireland and Palestine, though.

I don't think Chechnaya should be "free" as some hipsters say. It would only become a haven for radical Islamic terrorism and get invaded by Russia again, either that or Georgia would start trying to become their ally and result in another war of destruction for Georgia and whatever Chechnaya would become. Or ARMA II could happen.

Their independence is as deserved as the independence of Native Americans tribes is, equating to a remarkable score of 0 on the Independence Deserved meter.

Kind of already is a haven for radical Islamic terrorists. I encountered Chechen snipers when I was in Iraq, and then there's stuff like the the Beslan school hostage crisis. It's one thing to fight against an oppressor for your freedom, and it's another to murder 350+ innocent school children in cold blood.
