Part of me thinks this is bullshit and it proably is. And 100% of me knows its going to be full of suck and lame. How I know this? Well from what we know it looks like it is going to around the New Mexico area. Also there were rumors before MW3 and a video from IGN that there was going to be a COD game in space. Also its named COD 2012 so here is a few of 1. Alien Invasion New Mexico + Space= Aliens/UFO's involved. And as you all know alien games dont do that well ( E.T Predator vs Aliens, etc ) 2. Terrorist organization COD has had a history of killing brown people and displaying muslims as bad and evil people. And with tensions rising in the middle east ( Again ) with Iran its pretty obvious this is an obvious. 3. Fallout/End of World I honestly doubt Infinity Ward would think this is a good idea but maybe with the sucess of New Vegas they might have a game set when the world ends. Also here is a plot hole- COD4 was set in 2011 while MW2 and MW3 were set in 2016.
Cod: Come play the same game year after year with slightly new guns and then have you rage, all for the price of 60 dollars+ 60 for all the map packs you will buy, and we will make billions you morons.
How is that a plot hole? They said 5 years later at the beginning of 2006. It makes sense because it gives time for Price to get thrown in jail, and for Soap to go from a FNG to a BAMF.
I don't care Black Ops was horrible, The only tolerable guns were the AK's and I fucking hated every single optic for them.
Well I think everyone knew there will be an other one. As I know it will be an other Black Ops. I'd like to see some unknown conflicts in like the late cold war period (1970's-1980's) Or like a level in the Yugoslav wars.That whould be awesome! But as I presume they will return to their World at War-Black Ops story which is just full of plotholes and historical mindfucks.
They really just need to stop making Call of Duty at this point I think, but if they have to make more, I think they should make a Call of Duty about the Korean War.
Yeah when they announced Black ops as a "early Cold war setting" I thought it will be Vietnam and Korea but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,we must have a shitty story with almost no historical places.
Same thing here, at first before I knew what what it was going to be called, I thought the game was just going to be about the Vietnam War and you were just going to play as a normal soldier in the war.
They need to make a Korean War COD and a Vietnman War COD. Kinda like how they made their world war 2 CODS. Then they just need to quit.
I honestly have to agree. Besides Vietnam and Korea they have no where else to turn. And I think a game should stop after 8 Games unless its eithier a game like the elder scrolls or GTA.
I like the World War II CODs because they used real battle and you were just the normal soldier in the fox hole (yes you were in the SAS and Army Rangers, but whatever).
And Total War. They could go back to the unexplored parts of World War 2, like Italy or something but other than that they have to call it quits.
5 WWII games are enough. Also I think it would be kidna boring if COD didnt exist. All the noobs and 5 year olds would play BF3, Bf3 would have no competition and they wouldn't care as much, etc etc etc.
