This Friday at 7:00 pm EST, I will be hosting a Darkest Hour game for members of this forum.

Anyone is welcome to join.
I can host up to 16 people.

You'll need to following to join:

Darkest Hour 1.02 **NOTICE** The steam edition of the game will probably not work, if you wish to join in the game, obtain a second copy elsewhere.

Your checksum should be: JSJF
If your checksum is anything else, you will not be able to play.

The top right corner of the screen should read like this:


I will be hosting a Skype call as well, which you are welcome to join.
Add austinhoffmaster on Skype and message me there to let me know you want to join.
The call will start at about 6:45 pm EST.

The game will begin at the designated time, if you're not in the lobby, you won't be allowed to join.
Look for the game hosted by Chives with the description, "NKVD forums".

If you are interested in joining, make your voice heard below, as well, list the country you wish to play as, so I can have them ready when we begin.
It will be first come first serve.

I am reserving Siam for myself. I am using this country since it is, in most cases irrelevant to world events. Do not declare war on me. If I am annexed, I will be booted and the game will end.

Hmm, I've had too little sleep this week, so I'll be going to bed soon, so I'm going to have to miss this session. I'd love to join in some time though, I think I have the game set up right.

Record it I wont be able to make it but we should do this more often.

I've never played a multiplayer game for Darkest Hour before but this sounds like fun. I'm not sure which country to play as though. I'm thinking of the Qing though.

I will play as the Biyatarian Commune or whatever the Hell it's called. The one in India that's Red.

edit: Are you SURE Steam editions will work?

SPQR was saying the steam version is absolute shit and you need to torrent it. but he could be wrong.

Yeah, I don't think steam will work. You probably need to acquire it through other methods, and then just patch it.

I've got the Impulse/Gamestop 1.02 version. Is that OK?

It doesn't matter where you got it from, your checksum/version just needs to look like that when you boot up the game.

Mine says KPNA but it isn't running Kaiserreich as I haven't downloaded it yet. Do I have to run Kaiserreich first?

Yes JSJF is the checksum for after you download the mod.
