I have BF3 on PS3 and for some reason I cannot fire my gun or use any of my god damn equipment, i do not even see it on my screen, and the crossfire is about 3x the size its supposed to be. I can only use vehicle weapons and most of my friends I play with on PSN always ask me to play with em so the fastest reponse would be nice.

That sounds really fucking weird. I do not play FPS games so I obviously don't own the game but is your disc fine? Have you tried deleting it off your PS3 and reinstalling it? Maybe some data is corrupted. Do other games work fine? Have you tried looking around to see if others are having this problem?

You're not alone in this problem, it's quite a common one. There is no single perfect solution. Here are some things that people have tried and have worked for them. Some people have tried all of the following and still have the glitch today, after having it first appear a week after the game was released.

Uninstalling the game and playing it straight from the disc.
    Uninstalling and reinstalling.
Deleting and reinstalling/redownloading the expansion packs.
    Deleting all game data.
Cleaning the disc with proper specialized disc cleaning tools.
Getting a new disc/copy. Warning: this has worked for some people, but many people have tried this and it still hasn't worked.

If it's a known problem and my disc looked fine in no way would I pay them again for another copy that might not even work and waste even more money. I highly recommend that the OP stay away from this option.

I am not pissing away 40 dollars for a new disk. I might as well pirate the disk.

Restart your system, log out of your psn play single player, log on whilst playing single player, then go back online (it worked for me.)

Awful lot of trouble to go through for something the devs should probably have fixed by now.

So annoying that these companies can't make PS3 games.

I hope this is a PS3 problem. Never had that shit happen to me on Xbox, never even heard of any cases of it happening on an Xbox. Sorry buddy, can't help you.

Your disc probably is perfectly fine, it's most likely PSN's fault.

He was joking, I thought it was pretty funny. And you're hardly innocent of making stupid youtube-esque posts.

Sherlock. And I wouldn't have said it if you didn't reply with a snide remark. That's not what most people do when people joke.
