Would you die for valor? or your honour? I would what about you, if not that does not mean you are shamless, "In war the brave are not spared, only the cowardly"

Living with courage and valour, can make a Life great, but short, Live a cowards life, you will live long, and miserable.-Anonymous.

Great quote, But if were talking about military it all comes down to discipline and training not courage and valor, a smart man knows when to retreat, and so on.

I would much rather die on the battle field and have a short life of valor and epicness then a long life; i even believe there was a question like that ask to either Alexander or Hercules.

There is no shame in dieing in the battlefield all warriors go to Valhalla when they die.

Of course it's a good thing to die with honor. Life is the most precious thing we possess, to give it for a cause you believe in is deserving of no small praise.

Its why all people who fight for there cause either go to Folkvangr or Valhalla where they prepare for the Ragnarok and the battle at the field of Vigrior.

It's important to live life with honor, but you shouldn't strive to die for its sake. The dead are of no use to anyone.

Well, as far as I know, when I die, my conscious will be gone, so I couldn't give a damn about how I die. If there's one thing I'd like it to be is painless. When I'm seriously ill and doctors can't do anything, shoot a bullet through my head, cut everything that's still useful out of me and put me underground or something. Don't let me suffer for one and a half year before I die looking like a skeleton, thank you very much.

I would not die simply for the sake of honor but if I were too die, I'd would not mind dying honorably.

There is no honor in death. Not everyone who dies is a hero.

I think the goal should be to die with honor, not to die for honor. If you view your life as a template for your lasting legacy, there can be no greater legacy then that of having lived and died for an honorable cause

I would rather live honorably and die in an average, unimportant way than the other way around.

I wouldn't die for honor, but I would live for my country, even if it meant dying. Think about it. (hint: try to live to win)
