    Game wise, the mechanics and graphics have been getting consistently better. The trainwreck that some would consider a story has been shit since generation III (although the idea of a 10-year old dismantling a criminal organisation single handedly is retarded in every sense of the word), and the anime got shit around that period as well. As for the Pokemon themselves, I have my favourites and least favourites in every generation.
