Why don't we create political parties!!! There should be parties but they must be at least 10 people. So, if you can get 10 people together with you on an issue, then you can create a new party. Also, party members must have 50 posts or more, because it really shouldn't matter to people with less than 50 posts. After, the Political Parties are created, they should elect a leader in a thread they create themselves. To avoid too many threads, this thread will double as their idea thread, announcement thread, and new members thread. So, every party will have a "party superthread". Finally, these leaders will be put together in a new council, that works alongside the mods. Kind of like a two house system, you will have the "mod council" and "party council". This means mods cannot be party leaders but they can be in a party or support that parties ideas in the "mod council". What do you guys think?

Political parties, for a forum? Really?! -_-
How much more over-complicated can you try to make the running of this site? Have fun talking about politics but you shouldn't try to play politics when it comes to running the site. A forum needs 3 things, posters, rules and mods to enforce those rules and keep the forum clean, not political parties. Unless it is a forum dedicated to real life political parties, there is no reason for something like this.

Can I be the company that pays both parties to have secret power in the forum? (This is a RP, right?)

Yes, this was suggested before and obviously met with no success as it is not in place.

I don't think you guys see my point here...
First, I made this thread to show how out of control "politics" was on these forums.
Second, I made this plan to try and balance power if and when more reforms take place. Which, they will because of above reason.
Third, I want to have different color names again and I saw a somewhat legitimate way to get them :D .

And the community's response was resoundingly negative.

You both have the imagination of cheese.
Maybe if you guys were there we'd still be in the Garden of Eden, living in blissful ignorance.

If by the Community you mean a Mod and Toast, who has proven to simply be a lacky of the modship, then you'd be completely right.

"Lacky of the modship", Toast? I don't know if you have noticed but he has argued with several of us mods before, I would hardly call Toast a "lacky". Shaw I believe was referring to the last time this was proposed and yes the response was negative from what I remember.

Beforehand sure, but ever since he decided to clean up his act he seems to have become more of a follower of the modship rather than a moderate or a populist.

Lennins Beard, your obsession with Toast is kinda creepy. You're constantly trying to get his attention, quoting him, so on.

I have much Homolust for him. Also, he's one of the only people I still like here.

I agree. I don't think the Peoples' Assembly is any place for that style of posting.

Back to Off-Topic with you, Lennins Beard!

All I can say is lol. I mean, I'm pushing to shake things up a bit, but this is just silly.

I agree. Even more so with his "Toastisms", I think he's formed a 1-man cult of some description.

Concerning me being a "lacky", I'd say at least 2 mods have an intense hatred of me and I normally squabble with the crazy corrupt oppressors.
