Soooooooo episode 2 came out yesterday it was ok I guess. I was hoping Theon's sister was going to be hot like they said in the book but she's not..... Not much really happened but I guess just setting up scenes for the next episode like Yoren telling the Gold Cloak's to bugger off and and Jon finding out what Old Man Craster does with his baby sons.

SO what were your thoughts on episode 2?

Asha was a bit of a letdown. They are definitely taking more liberties and creative freedom in season 2 and I don't think Stannis will get the kind of son he was hoping for (wink wink nudge nudge)

I thought about that too must have been a pain in the ass but I wonder if they're going to show the demon thing come out of her vag or if they're just gunna show their silhouettes

The show has too much material to cover. That's my conclusion after watching this episode. The episodes need to be 2 hours long. Lots of things need to be fleshed out (haha geddit?) more. There was a lot of awesome in this episode, but also a lot of areas where we just needed more.

I'll start with the awesome. The scenes with Tyrion and Cersei were as good as ever. Tyrion has such presence and weight despite his diminutive stature, and his lines and personality are reaching new heights (another pun! I'm on a roll). I can't get enough of him - standing up for the Night's Watch at the council, exiling the City Watch commander, confronting Cersei, confronting Varys and that line about Ned, everything with him in it was brilliant.
I was also blown away by the introduction of Asha/Yara. Showing her letting her own brother seriously feel her up and talk dirty in her ear just so she could embarrass him later spoke volumes about her.
I liked the way we learn more about Theon, by seeing how he treats his inferiors and how he interacts with his superiors.
The Arya scenes were also fantastic as always. We needed a more heartwarming scene amidst all the depressing stuff going on elsewhere and we got one with the development of Arya's friendship.
It was right of the show to leave out certain important characters in this episode. We didn't see Robb, Bran or Joffrey at all, and rightly so - the show needs to rotate through the characters somewhat to ensure that each isn't relegated to having short scenes.
Melisandre is bewitching and...many more things.

Now for the not so awesome. I'm quickly getting bored of the whole Night's Watch thing. Apart from the scene at the very end, the whole thing just doesn't pull me in. They don't focus enough on Jon Snow in my opinion.
Like the previous episode, we need more Daenerys.
We also need more Davos, he's such an interesting character.
Scenes with Stannis this time didn't tell us much about him. Melisandre didn't have enough screen time.
That red-readed whore has mow gone two episodes without getting naked. It's funny, last season there were probably less that two scenes where she wasn't naked.
Episodes need to be longer so we can have more content, longer scenes, less skipping about between locations, and most importantly more tits sorry, I mean entertainment.

The part of the table where she was getting railed on is rather flat actually.

Well, if they're just lying around there, might as well use them as sex toys, right?
