I am starting a Forum Hexagon War Game. The battlefield is Europe. Like Risk the goal is to control all the territory's. Alliances can be made however keep in mind that at the end only one player can remain. The game will be starting on Monday, Pacific Daylight Time, so until then tell me the position you would like to start at with your colour of choice, all colours are usable except black or white. Any position works, but keep in mind the first 3 days will be peace. Rules -Territories can only attack each other if they are touching, or are separated by no more than one ocean area (marked by darker blue lines.) -Battles will be decided by a dice roll through this website: http://www.roll-dice-online.com/ simply say who you are attacking and where, I shall roll the die first for the attacker and then for the defender. If the attacker wins the territory is taken, if the attacker loses nothing changes, unless of course the defender uses their turn to retaliate. -You may only make one move per day. -This first games limit of players is 10. -White territories are neutral and can be claimed without a dice roll. -First come first serve, this includes starting positions and attacking, I shall however try to update the map as fast as possible. -In the scenario that the attacker and defender both roll the same number, the defender wins. -Until the first 4 people are knocked out of the game, all Capital Regions (Starting Regions marked with a star) have a defensive bonus. While being attacked a Capital Region gets too roll two dice, keeping the highest number of the two dice rolled in defense against the attackers one. This bonus is only for when being attacked, not attacking. This bonus in the beginning allows players that were stricken with bad luck to have a better chance of surviving for the beginning stages. In the scenario that your capital has been taken and you re-take it with another of your provinces you own, the bonus will not return. After the first 4 people have been knocked out this bonus will disappear to avoid lengthening the game far longer than needed. Nope. Also should I just keep this map as the only map or every day when it actually begins should I add a new map? I'm thinking just one map at the top would be easier. Edit: Surprised no one has taken Portugal, it appears the have the highest tactical advantage.
I'd like 36... or is it 3b? Whatever, it's under the Turkish, in yellow. I'd like that province with Teal.
Are you sure? You would be trapped in the first three days of peace, unless you claim 35 b before anyone else.
So the game will begin on Monday Pacific Daylight Time. First come first serve. When the game starts there will be three days of peace where only Neutral/White territory's can be claimed. Remember only territory's that are touching yours, even if by one hex, can be attacked. Attacks can be made by water only if it passes through no more than 1 water area marked by dark blue lines, attacks can not be made through two, so if you want to attack someone that is farther away you will have to hopscotch there.
