Quick idea: its intriguing to read continuous updates about how this "movement" across the middle east affects each area differently i.e. government's react differently, and like i say this is a working thesis, is Bahrain's guv'ment any different from Iran's then if shooting and oppressing is their answer to protest?

Their government - yes, a response doesn't define a government's policy and platform. The response - the same response is a same response.

Basically, any form of government is capable of grievous injustices against it's own population. Especially during times of rebellion.
