For the love of Darwin, there are communist parties in Britain as far as the eye can see.

    Here is the list:

    Communist Party of Britain
    Communist Party of Britain (Marxist–Leninist)
    New Communist Party of Britain
Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist–Leninist)
Communist Party of Great Britain (Provisional Central Committee)
Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist–Leninist)
    Revolutionary Communist Group (UK)
    Communist League of Great Britain
    Communist League (UK, 1988)
    Communist Party of Scotland
    Socialist Party of Great Britain

The big question is: in what communist party SovietEmpireUSSR belongs to (if he belongs to a party)?

That's not really a great many considering the US, the most un-communist country in the world, has over 40.

Of course not. In opposition to Portugal or Greece (where communist parties have a great parlamentarian representation), Great Britain shows to be more politically advanced.

I don´t agree that the US is the most un-communist country in the world. It is a democracy, after all (thougth it has that horse-shit of a two-party system).

I believe the most un-communist country in the world would be a country where feudalism still exists, there is no democracy, the country´s regime is a theocracy and it has a very extremely conservative culture. I think that what is more close to this aspects is either the Vatican, Saudi Arabia or Iran.

The same is true of the UK. Our main communist party can't even muster 1000 members.

A socialist (not a social democratic) party is represented in the Dutch parliament. There's was also a communist party represented in parliament from 1945 'till 1991... But it's quite easy to win a seat in parliament; you only need 0,66% of the votes for 1 seat.

Well according to what´s happening in Europe, nationalist parties are on the rise, in Portugal and Greece, that does not happen. I don´t like the nationalists, but it is normal for them to be on the rise in Europe, but in this two countries, this does not happen.

Not only that, when in other European countries, the communist parties are in a degredating position, In Portugal and Greece, that also does not happen.

What I meant, is that Portugal and Greece are not following the tendecies of other european countries.

I don´t agree with the anti-immigration policies and the Third Position of the nationalists, but I agree with the concept of liberal nationalism (a nationalism that has nothing to do with the nationalism of this parties).

Social democratic parties aren't doing well in Europe, but I think socialist parties are on the rise...

And how about Spain? The elections are next month and I read that the social democrats will probably lose...

I doubt they've even got any councillors.

    I think this is relevant:

This brings up a question. Why the hell would anyone advocate Marxist-Leninism in the west? As I understand it the whole idea behind the vanguard party was that the Russian Empire's working class was composed predominately of serfs with a minor proletarian class in the county's few industrial zones, therefor the educated elite would be needed to run the DotP.
