No, nononononononononono. Episode...3....first.... I can't even play l4d2 on anything other than easy with friends because they shoot me in the back, with grenade launchers.
Half Life sucks. Left 4 Dead does not. Let's hope that the public sends this message more forcefully at Valve.
Half Life sucks? Ok, did they make something you don't like or a design choice or something else? Cause that is just personal preference, not stating a fact. And the fact is, Half Life doesn't suck. To add the flavor, Duke Nukem Forever does suck imo Want to hear why? It's not a Duke game anymore.
Half Life is not fun. ADS hasn't been implemented in any of the expansions. It's 2011, almost 2012. Even Garry's Mod has ADS, and that's not an FPS. It's praised as having a great story. Aliens invade. People resist violently. How original... Nonsense. It's just as terrible as Halo or Call of Duty in that regard. It's praised for pioneering modern in-game physics. Well, a bunch of white supremacist hill-folk pioneered the American West... Besides that, the implementation sucks.
You're being silly. Why a game, developed initially for a basic Source engine 7 years ago needs ADS? I mean, sure Aiming Down the Sights is cool and all, but it wasn't developed for that. And why do you thing all FPS games need ADS. That is only your opinion, nothing more, but it sounds like you are stating a fact. Be reasonable. Also, even if the story is on par with Halo and CoD games, relating how terrible they are by your thinking, Half Life 2 has a lot better characters them other named games. It's a fact. A lot better then any other FPS out there if I m not mistaken. And yes, Gravity Gun is cool.
1. I hate the characters. 2. You can have the gravity gun in Garry's Mod where in my opinion is way more fun to use it.
This is one of the few times I can enjoy having a majority opinion and I have to say it feels good... Anyway, you can say you don't like the game but you have no grounds to say that it's just a pile of shit. The characters are pretty good too, try playing Episode 1 if you have the chance. They really did a fine job with Alyx, it's the most useful NPC I've ever seen.
