Hey everyone and welcome to my next Let's Play! This is the first one I've done using my capture card. I know it has some flaws with the audio and the video quality isn't that impressive, but I think that it has turned out well for what I had to work with. This LP is post-commentated and will be directly followed by Banjo-Tooie! The first 6 episodes have mono game sound, which is rectified in part 7. As per usual, links will be to the posts on my blog that have the embedded player for the video. This LP is now complete! Now, on with the videos! Part 1 - Spiral Mountain and Mumbo's Mountain Part 2 - Treasure Trove Cove Part 3 - Clanker's Cavern Part 4 - Bubble Gloop Swamp Part 5 - Freezeezy Peak Part 6 - Gobi's Valley Part 7 - Mad Monster Mansion Part 8 - Rusty Bucket Bay Part 9 - Click Clock Wood Part 10 - Finale
Whaaat? I used to love the Banjo games when I was little! Oh, the nostalgia, I'll check it out, these games were badass.
I hadn't come up with a method to record live yet. Live commentating console games requires more work than live commentating using fraps for computer games. I'll be first to admit that I am a lazy bastard. However, I do live commentate one world (two videos) of Banjo-Tooie...Cloud Cuckooland, for what should be very obvious reasons. I think that it does happen to be the best commentary I've ever done, and I now know exactly how to handle live commentary without much hassle. You should watch my update vlogs - I have discussed all of this on them at some point. By the way, the Banjo-Kazooie videos are already done being commentated and Banjo-Tooie is already done being recorded, I just have to commentate the videos I haven't live commentated (and edit together the two parts I have).
I honestly think that Banjo-Tooie is a superior game in every way shape and form in comparison to the first game. You should do more classic games like Donkey Kong and Star Fox.
Already planned. Specifically: Star Fox 64 and Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 (I haven't played 3 and 64).
