Alright guys, I'm going to be doing a German Let's Play of Hearts of Iron 2, Gotterdammerung.
I will probably be playing on Normal difficulty, concerning the fact that I am not an expert.
However, I do request your feedback on this, and I also would like any information regarding FREE video PC capture software and I also want to know if you guys want commentary.
I will probably start on June 20-21st, because my exams end on June 19.

    Order of Events
    1. Stabilization of Western Front
    2. Withdrawal at Eastern
    3. Western Offensive
    4. Italian Offensive
    5. Hold back the Russian Hordes (if possible)

    Regards,
    Aleem.

Okay, here's a map of the Eastern Front

    1. The red is going to be reorganized into Heersgruppe Nord (Von Kluge, Von Bock)
    2. The green will be reorganized into Heersgruppe Mitte ( Manstein, Guderian)
    3. The light purple will be reorganized into Heersgruppe Sud ( Rommel, Model, Brauchisth)
Field Marshal Model is an excellent defender, I will need a skilled defender operating in the Southern Front
    4. As for Finland, I'll be redeploying my troops elsewhere on the front... sorry Finland.

Here's my plan for the Italian Front. Just a slight withdrawal north for better terrain advantages, and a reinforcement of my left western flank. The green arrows are withdrawal plans, and the light purple line indicates the final border. I'm planning to put Keitel and Ringel in command of this Front

Here's my plan for the Western Front, as you can see I will spearhead a full scale assault on Avaranches supported by Tactical Bombers whilst laying waste to the infrastructure of Caen with my V1's and V2's. Hopefully this will hamper Allied supply shipping and slowly reduce the organization of the Allied forces.

Don't double post, also a tip, if you can stem the red tide to a halt, outmaneuver the allies and protect your southern flank you may be able to salvage a victory. You should look into buying Darkest hour its way better, as for free software, I Use Fraps its good quality however it saves the videos in high quality large memory portions, also Fraps isn't free.

Thank you, but about double posting, should I just edit my previous post and insert any new posts in there?

Yes that would be easiest, I could recommend illegal methods of aquiring good recording software but Fraps is only 37 dollars American, I would recommend the former if your in a financial situation, however not in public as it is against the rules.

Okay, but would you recommend me to include commentary or not?
Does it really make the lets play less interesting if the latter is prefered?

Yes, adding personality to your Videos makes them interesting to watch. Also most un commentated videos are mostly professional and offer walktroughs with little margin for error, while commentators add personality, and make your videos unique.

The first video is done, the second is edited and in the process of rendering, while the third needs to be edited and rendered. Each of the videos are 30 mins long, so I'm not quite sure how i'm going to upload this on youtube. I request your sincere advice, Romulus. =D Another problem is that the screen isn't wide enough for the video.... so like a part is cut out.. if you could help me there too.

I donĀ“t think Darkest Hour has the 1944 campaign.
