What is your most memorable WTF moment from a video game? For me it would have to be be when my friend first introduced me to the Missingo glitch from pokemon red, but the most recent one is this: [spoiler:12wz2ld8][/spoiler:12wz2ld8] My swamp home freezing over in Minecraft when I updated to the 1.9 prerelease Edit: Enderman keep spawning and teleporting around in broad daylight, this WTF moment is climbing the list pretty fast. By the time I was done wondering WTF was going on, it was already a little dark, I snapped this pic: [spoiler:12wz2ld8][/spoiler:12wz2ld8] It's still too bright for hostile mobs to spawn. On the note of mobs, I haven't seen a single pig, cow, chicken, or sheep this whole time, just this enderman. Edit Edit: Did see a one sheep, one pig, and a pile of squids. Took what I could for them since I'll have to do a lot of walking to find food with a desert to the south, oceans to the east and west, and IDK what to the north.
Most memorable? I try to not remember most WTF moments because they annoy me heavily, but I would have to say when I had 3 Armoured Elephants attack a Roman family member, and I also had my faction leader in the battle, I had three eles attack, then my Faction leader attacked from behind, and he was still able to rout my elephants and my General almost died, I didn't play the game for weeks after that.
Victoria ll I was playing as China, just focusing on my self, when i notice that France, North Germany, England and Austria declared war on russia. I thought to myself : Yea i join the bandwagon and help defeat the russian bear. So i started my invasion, just "days" later all of the eoropean bastards made peace with russia and declared war on me. WTF!!!! After they sent their rape train of troops to my country they wouldn't accept any peace, finaly after taking 3/4 of my precious country the left me alone and declared war on russia again. I mean WTF they just declared a break in their war against russia just to rape me!!! I so cheated after that and anexed all of them for the lulz and never ever touched Vicy2 again! Stupid AI!
I absolutely loved the ending on that one. Anyway, I just killed two guys with a single bullet in RO2, that was pretty awesome.
Head shotted someone in Cod 4 through a wall. For the achievement. Also, I was playing Halo and my friend just got Gears 3, and all I hear over the mike is "HOLY F***! IT'S A GIANT F***ING SPIDER! F**K ON A F**K SANDWICH! S.O.A.B.! THERE'S ONE ON THE F***ING CAR! JESUS! OMG! THERE ARE MORE! F**********************K!!!!!
I was playing Battlefield Heroes like the tool I am. My team was losing, bad. We had to hold the final base but my team was being retarded and running directly into enemy armor. So I got into a plane to try and shoot down at the enemy. Then I saw it. A massive convoy of enemies was coming down the road to our final base. The convoy had 3 infantry and 2 tanks. I knew I had to act. I came flying down, a blew open a tank with my plane, but there was no time to end the other. I bailed out of my plane, which then crushed 2 of the infantry and blew up the tank. I gunned down the final guy because they even knew what hit them. My team then pushed in and won. I felt so badass.
Turin being the idiot stupid enough to crash his Panther into the trench I was hiding in. [spoiler:2sfik4ex][/spoiler:2sfik4ex] Took me 2 shots but I did manage to finally penetrate his armor. [spoiler:2sfik4ex][/spoiler:2sfik4ex]
I recently had a similar experience, but without the elephants. Generals in RTW are hideously overpowered.
I got an achivement in TF2 for killing some one with a bow after I die, thing is that I did not have a bow. I was using vanilla rifle -.-'' Darkest hour - Steam rolled Germany, took all its provinces and it wont surrender, because it has a small distant colony some where in Asia. RAAAAAAGE!
I know the most epic moment, Boss Battle with The Boss on MGS3. While listening to "Snake Eater". The battle with Volgin still epic aswell. Prolly my favourite game of all time. WTF moment: my first game on CoD.
when I was playing COD and the whole first 5 minutes was that officer preaching to you how great Russia is and how you are going to kick the german's asses. I was like WTF that is awesome.
My most recent WTF moment was a glitch on the loading screen of Shogun 2. I drew a black line around the area you should look for the glitch. The blank map was part of the glitch and that was also not the picture of my Daimyo.
in ETW I was able to defeat most of the austrian army and all of their best troops using 3 units of armed citizens.
I have some WTF moments. I had one before when i was playing battlefield heroes. What's funny is, I'm really good with tanks and use it almost like artillary. On the sunset showdown map, i was on the nationalist side. Theres a rock near the flag that we normaly capture and i run my tank up onto the small rock, or park the tank on an angle on the rock. Well, I'm fireing on the church and since, when i see number damages that i did, they move in a direction which helps tell me where they may be going. But what the WTF moment for me and the guy i killed was that the person i killed Was a COMMANDO and was in STEALTH. i damaged him once and was able to keep following and guessing where he was based on the number damage movements. After that point when i killed him, he thought i was useing hacks XD A second WTF moment i can think of is where i was playing as france in europa universalis 3. I had conqured most of england's homeland, had some provencies in the unformed germany and a maybe 10 puppets. I had some armies here and there to contorl any rebellions and i had about i think 60 or 70k troops in actual france. All of a sudden spain declared war on me, they didn't have much for troops compared to what i had, they were mabye 30-40k? (i am guessing all of these army numbers) But i would be on defense or attack and i had pretty good generals, but spain constantly beat me, like they had better infantry versions. This was even on very easy and enemies set to being cowardly. WTF i got completely overun. And that's excluding lithuainia that i had to deal with on the east which i was doing well at.
