Mount & Blade:Warband - Napoleonic wars

Its like the M&M Ive always wanted, ya know, actually fun to play.



It's just an expansion DLC coming out on april 19th. Its made by the same devs from M&M and some from other mods. Features a lot of cool stuff like rockets, 220 historically accurate units and tons of historically accurate weapons. Features France,Britain,Prussia,Russia, and Austria.

I looked at some vids of it, an I am seriously thinking about buying it ( dont own M&B to start with) and join some Regiment. Something makes me happy, thinking about standing 50 meters apart from some evil French Linemen, just to put some holes in theire bodies with one well aimed salve. xD

Im probably going to get it. It looks really fun.

How bout we start a regiment for the Clan?

I suggest everyone watch line battles people are organizing.

Like this though I would hope we would perform better. (Its a newish Regiment)

Also, IF there is enough in the forums for this, i would like to volunteer to organize something beginning mid next week (Holiday over the weekend hiere in Germany). So IF you would be possibly interested in forming some kind of regiment, shoot me up with a PM with some basic information (Timezone included pls).

Is anyone else wondering why an RPG is deciding to concentrate on a multi-player expansion?

Because of the popularity of the Mount and Musket Mod. So many people play it and its really fun.

But it is an RPG. Creating a MP expansion defeats the purpose. Especially with mods like this:

because warband has a huge multi-player fallowing.

I know, but the fact that it is strictly MP is beyond my reasoning. If it was with singleplayer aswell I would be far more satisfied with it, and would definitely buy it.

Obviously you havent experienced the joy of the regiments. of course it would be cool but not the same effect. Plus there is a mode where you command like 30 bots or so and go up agianst others. Its a commander mode

well whatever it still kicks ass. And soon the NKVD Channel shall have its glorious regiment on it. And Mount and blade has a very VERY VERY loyal and large fan base so it will be sure to attract others to the site.

yes an RPG that has a non rpg multi-player with a much larger fallowing then the single player rpg
