So i have been playing Arma 2 free for a while now and thought it would be cool if people from the fourms would join a few games now and then. Since ARMA 2 is free and can be run on almost any PC (even mine) i thought there might be a chance of 5+ people joining. Now what i propose is that we first play "superpowers" and all of us are on the same team so the newbies can get used to the game, before we start playing "when diplomacy fails" or custom missions. But before i set up any games i wanted to make sure there was any intresst in this, and if there is i could probaly set up a game tomorow or later this week.

It's the full game sans graphical settings and the singleplayer campaign. Oh, and you can't play mods. But it's pretty much the entire game.

I'll try to get it, and if I can I'll try to come to any events.
I hope more people come, this game gets more and more better the more players, but more players wont join if you wont, so join today.

I can join this, however we should have more than 5 players to mount a squad, something around 8-10 players to start with is good enough, but people will need to know how to read maps and that this games isn't CoD or Battlefield, it is extremely realistic, you can't run & gun in this game.

I got it up and running so I'll come. I don't know what most of the buttons do though, so I'm probably the worst Arma Player in the Universe.

IDEA: we can make practise courses for new people, so they can learn about the controls, but someone with a microphone and with some experience in ArmA 2 should it.

Hey Joe, just for quick reading, you should put the people's steam accounts on the first post for the new guys to add them, plus it's easier to see who has already joined in.
