Do you consider yourself a productive member of society?
Would you teach your children to be productive members of society?

Go to work, get married, have some kids, pay your taxes, pay your bills, watch your tv, follow fashion, act normal, obey the law.

I've always dreaded the thought of becoming a productive member of society. Maybe I'll revive illegalism...

I don't produce anything apart from my infinitely valuable wisdom, but I am a member of society.

I think you'd have to work pretty hard to not be useful to society in some way , shape or form . I mean ,being a student , I'm not a productive member of society right now ... I'm more of an investment of some sort , useless to scociety right now , useful later when I get a job that I'm qualified for . : /

Oh and I consume lots of food. So yes, I'm extra productive member of society.

I think it's sort of how people use the word 'Savage' to mean 'Anyone who is not me'. Who exactly is confessing about their counterproductivity, and how society would be better off if they were to just lay down and die? I mean, that isn't clinically depressed.

    Yay and nay.
If you don't give two ****s about society, you wouldn't mind being counterproductive for the rest of society so long as you are successful, would you?

Exactly alot of people don't want to care for the common good, because sometimes the common good is not in there best interest.
