I would like to propose an official document on what is acceptale, pushing, and over the edge behavior... We have the basic of it, but we seem to be having an issue on certain matters (IE - Kali (no offense)). I suggest a more direct approach and maybe even applying them to certain areas. For example- In a political thread, calling your 'opponent' an idiot who cannot but one and one together is an offense, but in an off topic thread calling a member an idiot who cannot put one and one together is a warning... (Maybe I'm being to harsh, but it's an example) Also we need to record past situation and reflect back on them to cast the same judgement such as the Che inncident.
It is of my opinion that we should be allowed to call our opponent an idiot, especially if they make an argument so stupid only an idiot would say something like that. to which idiot is not even that bad of an insult.
I am only using an example, but I believe you should not be insulted on your opinion, but the way you argue them.
I could talk about " Proposal B-1 Having 'Bill of Rights' all day "... but it would get pretty fucking boring.
At the risk of sounding like a complete jerk, I refer you all to the thread entitled 'The Constitution of the People's Assembly'.
I think this is unnecessary, I, unlike some of you, trust the mods with the rules and judging our actions. Being the Policeman, Judge, and Jailer is kind of what they were chosen for right?
Still as much I agree with this statement they still need something to keep them from becoming corrupt assholes, so a bill or code of conduct works perfectly in this position, and besides the majority of mods already would fit into any code that is layed out.
I think that some people are a little too sensitive. Gr0w a pair. Oh wait, that might be too insulting, sorry...
Look, all I'm saying is that we may need something similar later... Personally I thought Che was okay, but I can see people got offended by him.
