http://www.rockstargames.com/ http://www.ubergizmo.com/2011/10/grand- ... -official/ I'm really excited about Rockstar announcing Grand Theft Auto 5. Rockstar updated their page this morning and it turn out it was a huge logo of the title GTA 5, and you know me, i was shocked about this being announced. However there will be a official teaser trailer coming out next week detailing possibly what city or cities are you going to be in. There's been rumors swirling around that it's going to be set in San Andreas, but at this point it's only speculation. Any of you guys excited about the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto 5?
I can't wait - hopefully it'll be like a cross between San Andreas and IV. Personally, I think Vice City is a good candidate (it did come after GTA3's Liberty City after all), and maybe that dollar note style logo points towards this?
It'll be cool to see Vice City return, but I wouldn't mind seeing a new area introduced into the universe. It's all up in the air right now.
This thread is in 'PC games', does that mean GTAV will be coming out on PC at the same time as on consoles? Thank you for your choice of forum SovietEmpireUSSR, I think I just had a total nerdgasm!
I'm bloody hoping it will release on the PC on the same day as the consoles. I will most likely get it on the PC than on the Xbox 360.
The console forum is dead. Most game threads go here so they're actually seen. This is cool news though.
HHmmm. The colour of the five in it is green. This could be a refference to the Grove street families in San Andreas or maybe Ireland couse in the bank heist mission the irish guy said "Ireland isn't the only thing that's green." but that is just a bit too much IMO.
I stumbled upon a video of GTA 5 a few months back, seemed pretty legit, like a developers' test or something, I know it wasn't anything other than GTA because of it's open world setting, the iconic minimap on the bottom left, new health features, and even a MPH ticker for the car. The graphics looked amazing and really lifelike.
My 'money' is on Vice City, simply 'cos they seem like the most likely people to be waving dollar bills about. Just Vice City would be a little disappointing (Miami's been done before, by Driver for example), so they could go all San Andreas and do the area around it - plus they have the advantage of fiction.
