Does anybody here besides me like to visit and watch their reports and the like. And if so, do you like their videos or articles better.
I watched them until I was able to pinpoint a case of blatant journalistic fraud that I had always suspected to be true, as well as their ongoing bias against Americans (although sometimes rightfully so), at which point I stopped reading them, watching them, and disregarded anything that I had learned from them as the source was untrustworthy. Here's a clip illustrating my point: While true, the entire slant that America is nothing anymore but China's bitch, that America loves debt, the purposeful omittance of cutting the budget/opposing viewpoint of why to keep debt high short term, and the not so well hidden slights at American ignorance of the system in place is overblown and alarmist in nature. As are most of their stories. I don't really feel like finding the case of journalistic fraud again, as it was months ago and I didn't save it. But it was definitely fraud.
I think they're great. It's always good to get someone else's point of view, especially Putin's. Putin for third term! Putin for third term! Putin for third term! Putin for third term! Putin for third term!
Che is right that they have an obvious anti-communist bias. But this is redundant, as almost all major mainstream media outlets are going to have said bias.
In fact the Communist Party in Russia is censored from the media. They are the third biggest party in Russia and there is no doubt they would be the first if it were not for their restrictions on air time that are placed on them on Russian Television, Radios and News Papers.
I like them because their one of the few news sources I can get to that do not constantly bash everything the Russian Federation does, example: The U.S. media during the 2008 Georgian War.
Yeah, I still can't believe American Media said that Russia attacked Georgia... Georgia is a pretty evil nation and America lets that slide. They artillery bomb their own villages killing many and destroying villages. But to America they are innocent and Russia is evil.
My fellow Americans tend think that any thing that combats Russia is some sort of freedom loving, innocent democracy... even if the nation is clearly a dictatiorship or a "president-for-life" sort of government. You would be surprised at how badly we see things in foreign affairs, like all of those "democratic" dictators we set up in Central America. I think that the entire Department of Foreign Affairs has managed to get a massive pair of beer goggles stuck on their heads.
