    what the safe temperature for geforce 8600GT so that the laptop wont crash (image+sound hang forever)
    my laptop is acer aspire 5920G

    8600GT eh? Well for the last 3 years it haven't really overheated itself for me. Maybe you're having a bad luck or something.

    do you have money for cleaning the laptop from inside? i think like cleaning the fan from dust? maybee you can do it yourself. it wont overheated anymore. i had the same problem with my toshiba qosmio.

    Yea clean your laptop you might have to open the laptop and open the fan itself with a mini screw driver set (file set).

    Also if your experienced enough do a repaste with some Artic Silver 5

    Just so you know, the maximum safe temp is around 85 degrees Celsius, and even then not for extended periods.
    Cleaning is an easy and free way that can sometimes dramatically lower temps, look online for a tutorial
