Leave your comment, toughts and opinions about whether yes or not they should be banned from the Euro Zone.Personally i think they should there have been lent over 228 billion euros, probably more to them and they just can't fix there economy to a stable point , its obvious there's gonna be the time where there debts will be to high for them to repay and....well...you know what happens.

The concept of the EU was to unite europe into one union, currency, economy
Now if you are making the EU's life harder with your economy taking hits, you will be excluded from the help of the Eurozone.

Wouldn't kicking them out do even more harm to the EU?

the op. Greece is draging the entire E.U. down. I know kicking them out isn't a perfect solution, but i do believe it's better in the long run.

Possibly, but I'm very sceptic of helping someone(or a country) that has been so irresponsible and reckless. The fact of the matter is that they never should have been allowed to join the EU like so many other Eastern European countries. It will be/is practically impossible to build a functioning EU when you expand it so rapidly. We had enough problems agreeing before we let 10 more countries join.

i agree with the op. Greece has had their chance to stabilize, it is because of them and other former soviet bloc countries that have dragged the EU progress down. but im highly doubtful they will actually do it, many nations see the EU as hope for their economic problems and if we just start kicking them out it will hurt our image
