Ok, I think I would have to start it some day. So this is the ultimate thread about soccer, you can talk about anything related to soccer like championships, players, goals etc. I'll start by saying that our team (Brazil) suc*s really hard now, no good scorers, only show-offs. I came to this conclusion after watching todays game of Brazil v Germany.
Serie A is where all the hot action is. AC Milan all the way! Anyway, the best player ever was maradona
/fixed.... La Liga has the two best teams and the Premiership probably has the highest level of competition, with at least 4-6 class teams. Milan continue to disappoint me as they are clearly the most talented Italian side, yet can't seem to put it together in the UCL.
No, the diving would be in Spain. Premier League is definitely the best football league right now for me. And yay, the friendly game between England and The Netherlands has been cancelled! No more useless chances for players to get injuries \o/
I like and play football but it watching it can be dull sometimes. [yt:3g7ryw6e]VF_uOgyBK1c[/yt:3g7ryw6e]
Well, everyone in their right mind would think they're overpriced babies. And then the jackasses always want more. I mean, I get that their careers are shorter than the average guy, and they can't get a decent job because most of the players couldn't get good education because they had to sacrifice it for their sport, but seriously, 9 million a year? That's just fucking ridiculous.
dont worry. In football, the good players get like 30-40 million (and the best get a lot more than that). Id rather the football players only make 9 million like the soccer players
30-40 a year? That's just...I don't even...wha...wait, don't the top few F1 drivers get around 20 million a year as well or something?
Alonso has a whooping salary of 50 million per year. Also most players don't get that much money, only in the über rich clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea.
Well, even in the Championship, players earn a lot of money (some even a million a year, I think). The most ridiculous thing about it is that all these clubs are heavily in debt (Arsenal being one of the exceptions, if I'm correct. Not sure, though), and yet they keep throwing away money (like Barcelona buying that defender for 30 mill. and selling him back to the exact same club for 10 the next season) like it's nothing.
I was talking about American Football. And didnt Real Madrid sign a 7 year old from Argentina?? I mean cmon
