I voted Star Trek. Star Wars is good too though.

I'm not sure I'd call myself a trekkie, but I am a big fan of Star Trek TNG.

    It's still no contest.

Star Wars Is better then Star Trek. In every way. It's more in depth too, has way more info in there little universe.

Never watched an episode of Star Trek in my life, not particularly a fan of the Star Wars Series.
    I refuse to vote.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are, but then again it's not that hard to learn a language all on your own without any specialized classes.
It only took me a summer and lots of television to learn Spanish =P

    OT: I prefer Star Trek

Nah, just regular Spanish TV programming (I had just moved to Spain that year) so I watched everything from dubbed Simpsons episodes to the wheel of fortune... those were dark days =P

I personally think that the Borg are the best evil race ever. The stormtroopers aren't as intimidating as them. Star Trek helped change how at least one generation viewed the subjects of race, women in the workforce, and inspired future inventions (like cell phones.) Star Trek is definitely better.

klingon is a very hard thing to learn, word meanings and pronunciation are very key, in fact there are only about 9-12 people on the word who can speak fluent klingon, i have grasp of it and have about 75% of it down.
